Faceting is what causes widgets across your dashboard to filter when you click chart segments, toggles, and lists. Faceting is more or less automatic, though you can configure faceting from the Step panel. Bindings take things a step further, letting you customize dashboard widgets and steps. Use bindings to change groupings, measures, sorting based on both dashboard selections and on step results. To create and edit bindings, edit your dashboard’s JSON.
